A spring photo scavenger hunt is an awesome way to get your kids outdoors and motivated to explore their world. This activity works just like a scavenger minus prep work for you, yea!
Materials
- Download and print the photo scavenger hunt list
- Pencil for marking the list off
- Camera (preferably a digital one that your kids can use)
Steps And Rules
1. Hand your kid the list, a pencil, and the camera.
2. If your kid is unfamiliar with the camera, take a moment to teach them how to take a basic shot.
3. Next tell your kid(s) that you want them to take a picture of everything that’s on the checklist. You could even tell them it’s a secret mission! You may even want to give them some boundaries, i.e. only in the backyard.
I wouldn’t enjoy getting emails from parents who can’t find their kids :)
4. Then release your kid into the wild, and see what they come back with.
Here’s a few pictures from Chucker’s and Had’s adventure. If your kids come back with fun shots, feel free to post them on our Facebook page. We’d love to see them!
